Booking terms and payment conditions

Prices and currency

All prices are quoted in US dollars (USD) per person and are based on the group size confirmed in your quote. If your group size changes, the per-person price changes with it.

Quoted prices include park and conservation fees, a private 4x4 with a professional English-speaking guide, fuel, accommodation and meals as listed on the safari page. They exclude international flights, visas, travel insurance, drinks, tips and personal items.

Booking and deposit

To confirm a safari we ask for a 30% deposit. Your dates, vehicle and accommodation are only held once the deposit is received.

The balance is payable before or on the first day of your safari. We will confirm the exact payment details in writing when you book — never act on payment instructions that do not come from our official email address.

The 10% donation

10% of every payment we receive goes directly to the Fruitful Orphanage and Day Care Center. It is taken from our side of the price, not added on top of your quote.

Changes and cancellations

Changes requested more than 30 days before departure are made free of charge where suppliers allow it. Inside 30 days, changes depend on lodge and park availability and may carry supplier fees.

Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: deposit refundable minus any non-recoverable supplier costs. Between 60 and 30 days: deposit retained. Inside 30 days: the full amount paid may be retained where suppliers have already been paid.

We will always try to move your dates rather than cancel, and we pass on any refund we recover from suppliers.

Insurance and health

Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical treatment, evacuation and trip cancellation is required for all guests. Please check current visa, vaccination and yellow-fever requirements for Tanzania before travelling.

Responsibility

Safaris take place in wild areas. Guests must follow the guide's instructions at all times, particularly regarding staying in the vehicle and behaviour around wildlife. Itineraries may be adjusted for weather, road conditions, park regulations or wildlife movement.
